Shades of Trayvon Martin, Cook County jury acquits in shooting death of young Latino

Gill victory margin rises on absentee and other late vote counts

All absentee, military, overseas and provisional votes have now been counted across the 13th Congressional District where PDA progressive, Dr. David Gill won a narrow victory over corporate Democrat Matt Goetten in the March 20 Democratic primary.  

The Gill campaign reports David Gill is the Democratic nominee by a 162 vote margin.  "We gained 19 votes over our election night margin as eligible absentee, military, overseas and provisional ballots were added to the tally.  Read more »
