WHY:
Thousands of Chicagoans will demand that banks and corporations pay their fair share for Chicago’s jobs, schools, and homes now. Corporations contribute only 10% of all taxes collected nationally, down from 25% 60 years ago. Chicagoans say enough is enough -- America needs to start collecting actual “before loopholes and tax breaks” taxes from the millionaires and billionaires like those at the Chicagoland CFO Executive Summit whose net income totaled nearly $200 billion last year and personal CEO/CFO personal compensation in 2010 topped $1.2 billion.
