Supreme Court Takes up Health Insurance Mandates--Good or Bad?

Comment from David Soll, a member the Rock River PDA Chapter (Rockford area) and a supporter of Occupy Rockford.  David says that Medicare for All might emerge from a Supreme Court decision against PPACA*.

I have to say... the Supreme Court is set to hear the case on whether the Affordable Health Care Act (aka: Obama-Care) is Constitutional or not...** -I hope to hell they call the whole thing UNCONSTITUTIONAL... and here is why:

The Insurance giants, the Republicans, the lobbyists all seem to have this constant knee-jerk reaction to hate anything Obama makes or supports... this negative motivation could very easily be the very door that many of us, who are full fledged supporters or Medicare For ALL, want to see kicked open!

The issue at hand is whether the government can mandate that We the People must purchase a private product (in this case, health insurance).  [If the Court rules against], the only option then for Obama (and perhaps this was his idea in the first place?) would be to open up Medicare (as a true public option) to anyone who wants in the program!

The lobbyists and the insurance giants will have put themselves in a proverbial box on this one... assuming Obama reacts to the inevitable decision by the Supreme Court to nullify "Obama-Care" by opening up Medicare. I have a feeling that this may very well be the end result? We shall see soon enough.
