Will Guzzardi is running in the March 20th Democratic primary to be the state representative for Illinois' 39th district.  See Map.

Will is an independent progressive Democrat who lives in Logan Square.  As a journalist for Huffington Post he often wrote about community groups and exposed corruption in local politics.  In Springfield, he will concentrate on safe streets, full funding for public schools and a smart jobs program. 

PDA gave Will our support because in Springfield, he can be independent from Party leaders and lobbyists and serve the people in his district.
